Responsibilities:

Associate Digital Designer

Overview:

GBH is Boston's leading public media organization, home to a diverse portfolio of beloved brands spanning children's programming, news, arts, and culture, reaching audiences across television, radio, and digital platforms.

Challenge:

Joining as the newest member of the design team meant stepping into unfamiliar creative territory, from children's online games to complex marketing campaigns for a wide range of GBH's brands. The challenge was finding my footing quickly while contributing meaningfully across very different types of projects.

Solution:

As an Associate Digital Designer, I worked across a range of projects including children's interactive games, podcast logo design, marketing campaigns, and brand development for shows across GBH's portfolio. Each project pushed me into new areas of the design process and helped me grow as a designer. Being the newcomer on the team taught me a lot about where I stood creatively, and stepping outside my comfort zone gave me a stronger sense of my own abilities and how to show up effectively within a collaborative team environment.
