overview:

Hardcore Disc Golf (HxCDG) is a passion project rooted in two things: the growing sport of disc golf and the energy of hardcore music. What started as an Instagram page has grown into a genuine community of like-minded individuals who share a love for both.

challenge:

Building a brand with no budget, no client brief, and no roadmap requires a different kind of creative commitment. The challenge was creating something that felt authentic to the community rather than manufactured, and growing it organically through genuine connection rather than paid promotion.

solution:

As the Freelance Graphic Designer and Photographer behind HxCDG since 2021, I developed the brand identity, social content, digital and 35mm film photography, and a line of clothing to promote the page and community. The Instagram account has grown to over 1,400 followers organically, a reflection of the brand's authenticity and the real engagement it generates. HxCDG isn't just a creative outlet. It's a labor of love and a reminder that the best communities are built on shared passion and genuine connection.
